Dr. Irelene Ricks

Dr. Ricks has spent the last 25 years alleviating disparities in STEM by building award-winning global diversity and inclusion programs. With extensive experience in Congress and federal agencies, including NASA and USAID, she leverages her background in policy-making, grants management, and international relations to further develop the potential of women and people of color. She has experience in higher education as an adjunct faculty member at Howard University and Johns Hopkins University.

He has over 30 years of high-tech marketing and business strategy experience. Brian has participated in STEM initiatives nationwide. Dr. Zelda Gills
Physicist - Lockheed Martin Aerospace, Marietta, GA
Dr. Zelda Gills is a physicist working as a technical project manager at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company. She currently leverages expertise in systems engineering and avionics to conceptualize and mature solutions for mission system modification contracts. Her industry experience includes optics/photonics, telecommunications, electronics, and avionics.
Frank Jenkins has over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry with an expertise in marketing, sales, strategic and product development. Jenkins most recent role was Senior Manager/Director Denso Commercial and Heavy-Duty Division in Long Beach, CA.

Dr. Sally Creel
STEM & Innovation Supervisor/Professional Development Consultant
Sally Creel, K-12 STEM & Innovation Supervisor for Cobb County Schools in Georgia, has spent the last 26 years as an educator, science and STEM administrator working with leaders, teachers and K–12 students. Sally also works as a professional development consultant for several organizations including the National Science Teaching Association, Georgia DOE, Kennesaw State University, Picture Perfect Science, Underwriters Laboratory, Teacher Created Materials and various MSP grants. She has had the opportunity to conduct professional development sessions in science & STEM across the United States. Dr. Creel has a passion for empowering classroom teachers.
Sally has served as a consultant and contributing author on several publications including the Smithsonian’s STEAM Readers series and STEM Position Statement for the National Science Teaching Association. She is actively involved in the Georgia Science Teachers Association and Georgia Science Supervisors Association and has served as presidents of both organizations. She is also a frequent presenter at the National Science Teaching Association National Conference.
